Fourteen years ago from today, the way events unfolded in & around World Trade Center and reshaped the life in America, particularly in the air travel industry. On the early morning of September 11, 2001, 19 men related to al Qaeda under the command of Osama bin Laden boarded four flights which were hijacked. Three of these were used as weapons to attack and destroy major American landmarks. American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines 175 were crashed into World Trade Center North and South Towers, causing their collapse. Meanwhile, American Airlines Flight 77 was deliberately crashed into the Pentagon. The fourth flight, United Airlines 93, crashed near Shanksville in Pennsylvannia after the heroic action of passengers and crew who attempted to regain the control of the airliner, preventing terrorists to reach its intended target in Washington D.C.
Today, let’s take few moments of our precious time, in memoriam of the 250 innocent souls who perished on board United 93, United 175, American 77, and American 11, we kindly invite you to take the time to honor the flight crew and passengers on board those flights, and take time to remember them.
