IRISH LOW-COST carrier Ryanair is celebrating a record 2014 after posting a full year net profit of €867 million. The Dublin-based airline added that its passenger traffic figures had increased by 11% to 90.6 million while average load factors also climbed from 83% to 88%.
Reflecting on its financial performance, Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary, said: “We are pleased to celebrate Ryan air’s 30th Birthday by reporting this 66% increase in net profit which demonstrates the enduring strength of our lowest fare/lowest cost model which has been transformed by the success of our ‘Always Getting Better’ [AGB] customer experience programme.”
